I wanna ride the pony
Jake went to the sometime-of-the-season festival in Aurora yesterday. He waited patiently to ride this pony in a circle for two minutes. And, he's still talking about it.

This year's birthday extravaganza was a little more subdued than last year's. But, as soon as I get his Firetruck Big Boy Bed put together, I'm sure it'll kick last year's ass.

Jake is now talking like crazy...we mostly have no idea what he is saying, but that doesn't seem to matter to him. His favorites seem to be "I want that one", "Truck", and everyone he sees gets a "Hi" and "Bye".
He can often be found resting and working on his vocabulary in the yard.

Our search for a beaver costume has been fruitless. Therefore, the muggle will not be the Chicago Beavers mascot. That also means he's only got the Honeypot costume Grandma bought him before his birth. Actually, it's pretty lame, so there might not be a halloween dress up walk to the neighbor's house and beg for cheap candy ritual this year.
