It's hard to believe the muggle is more than four month old! He's beginning to do all sorts of fun and interesting things. Just the other day he was laying in his crib playing with his feet (his latest discovery) when I walked in to the room. As soon as he saw me his face lit up and an ear-to-ear smile came over him. He makes me happy. Until he poops and it stinks really bad and I have to clean it up and he laughs at me 'cause he's making me clean his poop. Then he just makes me laugh...Not a happy laugh but a, "someday you are going to have to clean poop and I can't wait to see the smile on your face" laugh.

Jake is rolling around. It is quite fascinating. Once I put him on the floor in his room and when I returned minutes later he was gone! Well, not actually gone. More like missing from where I left him. It seems he'd rolled underneath his crib and was out of eyesight. The grunting and moaning were a dead giveaway to his location though.
I quickly snatched him up and vowed to never leave him unattended again. I broke that vow minutes later though by leaving him in the living room to fetch the chocolate licorice from the kitchen. He forgave me after three pieces.

The muggle is growing like a weed. He is now a whopping 15 pounds. He smiles (probably from gas) regularly and even audibly laughs!

Okay, we've been really busy. I have been adding pictures though almost every day. Also, I've add a new feature movie called Bathe The Muggle. If you have Windows Mediaplayer or Quicktime to view the movie.

Sorry it's been a while since my last written update. We've been a little busy. I've been adding new pictures to the view the muggle section almost every day though.
I plan to have a full update of features sometime within the next month.
Some of the planned enhancements are:

I've added more pictures to the view the muggle section. If you would like your picture with the muggle, just hold your horses...I will be adding a section for just that purpose in the upcoming weeks.
Jake David Apostolos is the muggle's official name. I know David didn't exactly win, or come close to winning, but it was a sentimental favorite.

That's the official time for the Sonoscan baby pool, though I would be willing to entertain a kickback to move it a few ticks one way or another.
I have posted pictures of Jake "middle-name-to-be-determined" Apostolos in the view the muggle section. I will have much to say, but because I have not slept in more than 24 hours, I'm going to kick off to bed.
I will leave you with a few tidbits though...9lbs 5.3 ounces delivered naturally. I was not hanging around by the head...instead I was as much a participant and viewer as the doctor, more so in my opinion. In fact, I saw Jake enter the world a couple of times because he kept going back in.
There was also a hung shoulder on pelvis bone right out of an E.R. episode, but I won't waste a whole story by giving a short symopsis here.
The focus may be bad on a few of the pictures...I chalk it up to teary-eyed focusing.

Okay, she is sleeping at the hospital high on the drugs that made her want to forget the baby naming contest and instead name her first born after the anisthesiologist. Even funnier than that whim is the guys name--Cheeky Guana. Pardon the obvious misspellings.
I've added some photos to the "View the muggle" section. They aren't all that fabulous, but it's enough to lay the ground work for all of the stories--more to come.
It's official, at least as official as it's going to get, The muggle is a boy! The question everyone seems to ask is, "Have you picked out a name?" Well, the answer is YES. His friends will call him Jake. We will still call him The muggle.
We are settled on Jake Apostolos but, we have no thoughts on the middle name. That's where you can help. On the left there is an opportunity for you to play an albeit small but important part in the life of The muggle.
